Side Effects Of Rogaine

While I have previously blogged about Keeping your hair with Rogaine before, I thought it’ll be good to highlight the side effects of Rogaine which I had previously just briefly touched on. This way, readers can judge for themselves if the product is worth the trouble.
1. Itching, Dryness, Scalp Irritation
These are the most common side effects of Rogaine. The itching area is usually the area where the product is applied. If you experience itching, redness, dryness and flaking of the scalp, continue using Rogaine until it becomes unbearable. These are all normal side effects of the drug and may fade as use continues.
2. Allergic Reactions
Some people have experienced allergic reactions to Rogaine before. If you experience breathing difficulties, swelling of lips, tongue, face or have developed hives after applying Rogaine, stop using the drug and consult your doctor immediately.
3. Chest Pains & Irregular Heartbeats
Records have shown that some Rogaine users have experienced chest pains and irregular or rapid heartbeats after application. Similarly, in situations like these, discontinue use and consult your doctor or seek medical attention immediately.
4. Unwanted Hair Development
I’ve read that some women have reported the development of permanent hair on the forehead and other unwanted facial hair after using Rogaine. This apparently is another one of Rogaine’s side effects to take note of.
5. Rogaine Is For Ever
Once you start using Rogaine, you have to keep using it for the rest of your life. If you stop, you will simply lose all the hair which you grew from using Rogaine, and any hair Rogaine kept you from losing.
