Found more types of food you can eat to promote hair growth and prevent hair loss!

1. Seafood

Eat more seafood! Many men who suffer from hair loss are found to have zinc deficiencies. Zinc plays an essential part in cell reproduction to hormonal balance in our bodies. More importantly, zinc manages the glands that attach to your hair follicles.

The follicles become weak when a person is low on zinc, causing strands to break off or fall out. Eat zinc-heavy foods such as red meats, poultry, mussels, shrimp, nuts, and oysters but in moderation. Excessive zinc intake can also eventually lead to hair loss.

2. Raisins & Cherry Juice

Iron plays a key rold in carrying oxygen to your organs an tissues. A good flow of blood to your scalp will help stimulate and promote hair growth so adding more iron to your diet will definitely help.

I previously mentioned that liver helps provide the iron needed but if stir fried liver is not your thing then maybe you can try raisins or cherry juice. Personally, I love raisins.

3. Bean sprouts, Cucumber Skins & Potatoes

Remember I mentioned the important role Silica plays in preventing hair loss? I’ve just fount out that Silica can be found in bean sprouts and the skin of cucumbers, red and green peppers, and potatoes. A cucumber, potato salad sounds really healthy and tempting now.
