Recently I have come across some queries on the Balding Blog on hair grafting in scars.
There have been users who have tried grafting hair into scars but do not seem to notice any growth. According to Dr. Rassman, grafts in scars usually do not grow as well as those on normal healthy tissue.
The patient noticed that the hairs implanted into the scars have stopped growing, are bent and are just ’sitting there’. The skin around the area has also been scabbing. You can read more about his situation below.
